Proston State School

Proston State School is in the South Burnett area, 40 km west of Wondai and has been serving the town of Proston and surrounding rural areas since 1924. We have a proud history and a strong community base with strong support from our P and C and links to other community groups.

We currently have 113 students enrolled from Prep to Year 10 and have a broad academic program with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy.

Our school motto is “Strive to Excel” and our focus is on “Every day Every Student is Learning and Achieving in Every Classroom”. To help achieve this we have four school rules: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Cooperative and Be a Learner.

Please take some time to look through our website and do not hesitate to call (07) 4169 4333 if you have any further questions.

We look forward to meeting you.

 Elizabeth Cumming (Principal)
